TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT
The Gunners are believed to have offered the Nigerian ace £25,000 per week, a sum which more than doubles his current salary.
Despite this his advisors want him to get £35,000 a week, a deal which would make him the highest paid player at Highbury.
"We have kept our part of the bargain. When Kanu first arrived we agreed his salary would be reviewed after a certain period, we have stuck to that and made him what we think is a fabulous, generous offer and it is also the last one, most definitely the last one," said Hill-Wood. "Kanu is under contract and we want him to stay, but if he finds our offer not good enough then he will have to quit to find it somewhere else."
The North London club are determind not to go the way fo Manchester United with Roy Keane and break their wage structure, "Football is heading for disaster unless we, the clubs, start to say no to the players, if Arsenal gave Kanu what he wanted, then gave in to other players, we would go bust." added Hill-Wood.
