GUNNERS GIVEN KANU GREEN LIGHT
ARSENAL have been given permission to play Nwankwo Kanu against Leicester in Sunday`s FA Cup Fourth Round clash.
It was previously thought that Nigeria were going to apply the international 14-day rule and refuse Kanu permission to play for his club against his wishes.
However, Nigerian Football Federation spokesman John Fashunu speaking on BBC Radio Five Live said Kanu would be allowed to play for his club against Leicester.
Kanu will now leave after Sunday`s game and join his international team mates to prepare for the African Nations Cup that begins in Ghana on January 22.
