RBK CLOSE TO SIGNING FRIEDEL
ROSENBORG are reportedly close to signing Liverpool`s out-of-favour goalkeeper Brad Friedel.
The Norwegian club`s director of football, Rune Bratseth, confirmed late on Monday night that the American international goalkeeper could become a Rosenborg player soon.
RBK turned to Friedel when their bids to sign Tottenham`s Espen Baardsen and Brann`s Magnus Kihlstedt were scuppered.
The Norwegian giants are desperate to sign a keeper before January 31, so he would be available to play for the club in the next stage of the Champions League.
