INTERNATIONAL LAMPOON FOR OLD FIRM
CELTIC`S Norwegian international Vidar Riseth is the latest Old Firm star to criticise the SPL over the date of the next Celtic versus Rangers game.
The Glasgow giants are due to meet on Wednesday, February 23, a date that clashes with a number of international matches and which will affect a large number of foreign stars at both clubs.
And with a Champions League place possibly hinging on the outcome of the clash, the likes of Riseth are frustrated at having to become embroiled in a club versus country row.
Riseth (pictured) summed up the feeling in both camps by saying that certain players places in their respective nations` European Championship squads could be at risk should they miss out on friendlies so close to the finals.
