WEST BROM SIGN FREDGAARD
As optasoccer.com told you yesterday Click Here For Yesterday`s EXCLUSIVE Story, Danish international Fredgaard has decided to stay in England and join West Brom after meeting with manager Brian Little on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old joined Sunderland in the summer from Lygnby for £1.7 million, but has failed to win a regular first team place at The Stadium of Light.
Speaking to the official West Brom website Brian Little said: "I think pace is his biggest asset.
"He can play through the middle, but he`ll probably play left side. Pace is something that`s vital. I think it`s an area where we have Lee who`s reasonably sharp, But I think in terms of wide areas up front, really it`s an asset that we`re just a little bit lacking in at the moment.
"That was obviously one of the deciding factors and knowing of him having pace, it`s the sort of thing we were looking for to make us a different type of team."
"We just need to get behind teams, which we`re not doing very much at the moment." added Little.
