PEACOCK SIGNS NEW DEAL
QUEENS PARK RANGERS have been boosted by the news that midfielder Gavin Peacock has signed a new contract that will keep him at Lofus Road.
The 32-year-old former Newcastle United star would have been available on a Bosman free transfer at the end of the season but has decided that his future lays with QPR.
Peacock cost Rangers around £1 million when he moved from Chelsea. The skilful playmaker found himself unable to hold down a regular first-team place.
Since his move to Loftus road Peacock has been a model of consistency and his 8 goals last year not only saw him end up as equal top goalscorer, but helped keep his side in Division One.
