WEST HAM 5 BRADFORD 4

IT WAS goals galore at Upton Park, with relegation-threatened Bradford kicking themselves for not holding on to a 4-2 lead.

The visitors opened the scoring after 30 minutes, Dean Windass heading home after the West Ham defence went walkabout.

Trevor Sinclair equalised for the Hammers five minutes later, slamming the ball home with a ferocious drive.

Harry Redknapp`s men took the lead two-minutes before the break through midfielder John Moncur, The former Swindon star lashed the ball home with a cracking 30-yard left-foot volley.

Peter Beagrie, however, scored from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time to make it 2-2.

Bradford`s red-headed winger Jamie Lawrence scored twice in four minutes, 47 and 51, to give Paul Jewell`s side a lead that they should have kept, but West Ham had plenty left in the tank.

Paolo Di Canio slotted home from the penalty spot on 65 minutes and provided his side`s fifth, setting up Frank Lampard on 83 minutes.

However, it was Joe Cole`s 70th minute effort that got the Upton Park faithful singing in the stands.
