DI CANIO WANTS CELTIC RETURN

WEST HAM UNITED star Paolo Di Canio has admitted that he would love to return to Celtic - and may be set to leave London at the end of the season.

The mercurial Italian left the club after an argument with then chief executive Fergus McCann.

However since Tommy Burns arrival at Celtic, Di Canio has admitted he would like to return to Parkhead as soon as he can.

"I`m happy that Tommy Burns is back at the club. He knows it is my dream to win something with him, and I hope that dream comes true soon."

"I hope that he stays on past the end of the season at Celtic, and if he does then maybe I will get the chance to join.

"The club should try to bring me and Peter Grant back - with his passion and my ability Celtic would be unstoppable."

The former Sheffield Wednesday star - who made his name with AC Milan in Italy`s Serie A - has been a revelation since his arrival at West Ham, scoring 19 times and quickly becoming a firm fan-favourite.
