ADE HIT WITH FA RAP
WOLVES striker Ade Akinbiyi has been charged with misconduct by a Football Association disciplinary panel following his sending off against Nottingham Forest on February 26.
The 25-year-old forward was dismissed following an apparent headbutt on Forest defender Tony Vaughan in the early moments of the match.
The former Gillingham hit-man continued his protest, refusing to leave the pitch, clashing with his club captain Keith Curle in the process.
Following the game, Akinbiyi expressed deep regret at his actions, stating that he had let down both the club and his family.
Wolves manager Colin Lee severely reprimanded his star striker, fining him the maximum two weeks` wages.
