RONALDO TO SEE SAME SPECIALIST
The Inter Milan striker made his first appearance for the Serie A giants in six months as a 59th minute substitute in the Italian Cup semi final clash with Lazio, but six minutes later he left the field on a stretcher.
Ronaldo is expected to meet Professor Gerard Saillant at the "de la Pitie Salpetriere" hospital at 1 o`clock.
The Inter medical staff`s diagnosis taken in the game`s aftermath confirmed that Ronaldo had re-injured the tendon in his right knee and coach Marcello Lippi said it is likely that his star striker will miss at least six months of action, so the tendon can heal naturally.
Lippi said that the Brazilian appeared to be a broken man, adding: "I told Ronaldo to spend these extremely difficult months next to his child."
Ronaldo has suffered a string of injuries since his ill-fated appearance in the 1998 World Cup Final, making just eight appearances this season.
