DUDEK LINKED TO UNITED AGAIN

REPORTS IN HOLLAND have claimed that if Dutch international striker Ruud van Nistelrooy joins Manchester United for £20 million, then they would not be able to afford to buy Jerzy Dudek.

The Feyenoord goalkeeper is valued at £3.6 million by the Dutch champions and is very highly rated by Red Devils manager Sir Alex Ferguson, but reports suggesting that United could not afford both are wide of the mark, and in fact Dudek a move to Manchester is looking increasing likely with the side from De Kuip believed to be targetting a number of keepers as replacement for the Polish number one.

Harald Wapenaar of FC Utrecht appears to be the number one choice for the Rotterdam club, although they have also been linked to AZ Alkmaar`s very highly rated No 1 Oscar Moens.

Wapenaar, 30, started his career at De Kuip before moving onto Utrecht and Udinese.

27-year-old Moens is one of the best keepers in Holland, and has been targeted by Ajax as well as Feyenoord.
