KLUIVERT AND VAN GAAL CLASH AGAIN

RUMOURS are abound in Barcelona, that striker Patrick Kluivert has had another bust-up with coach Louis van Gaal, ahead of the Champions League match with Chelsea.

The Dutch international attacker, much admired by Blues boss Gianluca Vialli and linked with a number of Premiership clubs in the past, could well be be allowed to quit Camp Nou in the summer, as a result of the latest disagreement with his coach.

Both Rivaldo and Kluivert questioned van Gaal`s management strategy recently, and the former Ajax coach admitted that they would be "forgiven but not forgotten."

Clearly the row has been simmering, and it is alleged to have flared up again in the dressing room this week, after training. Barca`s dreadful form is certainly leading to tempers becoming frayed, behind the scenes.

Indeed, it is being claimed, from some sources, that the tension has become unbearable at the club with many players disagreeing with van Gaal`s tactics and feeling disenchanted with working under the Dutch coach.

Such news will be greeted with delight at Stamford Bridge, with Vialli`s side taking a two-goal advantage to Catalunya on Tuesday, but it could have greater repercussions in the future with Chelsea amongst the clubs believed to be willing to try and sign Kluivert at the end of the season.

Indeed, the bad-feeling between Kluivert and Van Gaal has escalated to the stage where the Dutchman has been omitted for Barcas forthcoming clash with Oviedo.
