NEVILLE: `I KEEP GETTING DEATH THREATS`
Neville, who lambasted the Anfield fans in a regular diary piece for a national paper, admitted that he would more be more discreet with his criticisms: "I think I'm better off keeping my mouth shut about Liverpool from now on because I keep getting myself into trouble.
"I keep getting death threats. I always tend to leave pretty quickly after the game and, after the recent match with Liverpool, my car nearly got turned over going through Salford Quays by about five scousers."
25-year-old Neville, believes that The Red Devils' bad press is due to their success, adding: "I remember when I was growing up that I didn't like Liverpool because they were winning everything and because they were our rivals.
"It's the same now. People don't like United because we're winning everything. Hopefully we will be disliked for a long time to come.
"I want to play for a team that opposition fans feel threatened by - and people do feel threatened by United."
