BUNDESLIGA sides Kaiserslautern and Schalke are believed to be leading the chase for Tottenham midfielder Allan Nielsen.
The 29-year-old has been on loan at Wolves this season after falling out of favour at Spurs, but a permanent move to Molineux cannot take place because the Midlands club cannot afford the transfer fee.
However, he is unlikely to regain his place at White Hart Lane due to the form of the likes of Tim Sherwood, Steffen Freund and Darren Anderton and Spurs are likely to listen to offers for him.
The Dane is likely to play in Euro 2000 and, should he impress the watching scouts, a move to Germany could help him to resurrect his career.
