FERGIE IN SCOTS PLEDGE/NEVILLE BOOST
The experienced Scot will leave the job in two years time and has revealed that he would gladly help the national team coach, if required.
"Other managers contact me all the time for advice," Ferguson told the Daily Record. "If Scotland were to ask when I retired I'd be delighted to help.
"I'll be finished running a team and will not be involved in this area although with all my experience I would give advice if asked for it. My advice would be free and it would be pleasant to help a young manager."
Meanwhile, Ferguson has revealed that Gary Neville is expected to be fit for this summer's Euro 2000 tournament, despite not playing since Easter with a groin injury.
"Gary will be okay for Euro 2000," added Fergie. "Kevin Keegan knows the situation and Gary will now have a good rest under his belt before hopefully being involved with England."
