HAMBURG TO MAKE KLOS CALL?

BUNDESLIGA side Hamburg are reportedly targeting Rangers goalkeeper Stefan Klos as a replacement for Hans-Jorg Butt who seems set to leave the German side in the summer.

Klos moved to Ibrox 18 months ago for £700,000 from Borussia Dortmund and established himself as The Gers` number one in the second half of the season.

A move to Germany could help Klos` chances of winning a place in the German national team, but Dick Advocaat is keen for him to be the long-term first choice keeper at Ibrox - a point emphasised by Laurent Charbonnier`s likely transfer to Toulouse before the start of next season.

The German side are also thought to be interested in signing Jorg Albertz, but any move seems unlikely after Der Hammer`s decision to sign a contract extension until 2005 earlier this week.
