QPR RELEASE SLADE
QUEENS PARK RANGERS boss Gerry Francis has announced his retained list for next season, and amongst seven players released is former Spurs striker Steve Slade.
The 24-year-old forward was signed for £250,000 in 1996, but he has failed to settle at Loftus Road and has now been told he is surplus to requirements.
The other players to be released are Matthew Cass, Rik Lopez, Michael Mahoney-Johnson, John Newall, Brad Piercewright and Wayne Purser.
