OMOYINMI SET FOR FRESH START
The Nigerian will long be remembered at The Hammers for the role that he played in the club's farcical Worthington Cup match against Aston Villa last season.
Having won the initial match on penalties, the London side were forced into a replay when it transpired that Omoyinmi, who came on as a a late substitute, had already played in the competition for Gillingham.
The Midlands side went on to win the replay 3-1 and deny the Hammers a possible route into the lucrative Uefa cup.
22-year-old Omoyinmi will now be hoping to put these memories behind him as he looks to make a fresh start at the Manor Ground.
Meanwhile, American goalkeeper Ian Feuer, who filled in at West Ham during the injury crisis of last season, has signed for First Division Wimbledon on a free transfer. The 27-year-old has signed a three-year contract at Selhurst Park.
