ALEXANDERSSON POISED TO MOVE
COVENTRY CITY look set to complete the signing of Swedish international midfielder Niclas Alexandersson within the next week, ending speculation over the player's future.
Coventry are hoping to announce the completion of two transfers in the coming days, and Alexandersson, who has been tipped to be a transfer target of Gordon Strachan for some time, is favourite to be one of the two, with Everton's Don Hutchison rumoured to be the other player in City`s sights.
Meanwhile, Sheffield Wednesday are lining up former Wales manager Terry Yorath as a replacement for Chris Waddle, who quit his post as reserve team coach last week, having not been offered the, then vacant, manager's post.
The Welshman, who won 51 caps for his country as a player and has had management positions at Swansea, Bradford and his home town of Cardiff, is currently first team coach at Bradford City.
