DEPORTIVO UNVEIL EMERSON
SPANISH champions Deportivo La Coruna have unveiled new £5.6 million signing Emerson, after the Brazilian midfielder finalised his move from Segunda Liga side Tenerife.
The 28-year-old former Middlesbrough star joined the Canary Islands side in January 1998, and he has been a massive hit with the club in his two seasons, but he has now been promised Champions League football with Deportivo.
Deportivo president Augusto Caesar Lendoiro is very happy with the signing, saying: "He is a player with quality, force and experience."
