ALEXANDERSSON LOOKS TO FUTURE
The former Sheffield Wednesday star - talking to Swedish daily Sportbladet - talked of the game saying: "This was first of all, a part of the practice, we trained hard the day before and I felt in the legs that I wasn't at hundred percent."
"It's too early to say yet, but you can notice on the practices that we have a big and good roster.
Alexandersson admitted that he was not yet familiar with his new city, adding: "I haven't seen so much. We are looking at a house outside the city. Probably, we will get a house closer to Manchester."
"Gascoigne is a nice guy. It's tough for him wherever he comes, he gets much attention. But at his best, he is a great player"
Walter Smith praised his new signing but said that his condition was the key point to the Swedish star's pres-season. "He is a good player. The most important for Niclas right now is to get match fitness, since this was his first match after the European Championship."
