GONZALEZ COMMITTED TO VALENCIA

VALENCIA midfielder Cristian Alberto 'Kily' Gonzalez has said that he is settled at the Spanish club, and has stated that he would be happy to end his career there.

The Argentinian was linked with a move to Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan during the summer, but he has said that he is not planning to move anywhere, and he is determined to see out at least the four years that he has left on his current deal with the club.

"There has been a lot of speculation," said the 26-year-old. "When I have had a good season, big teams are going to be interested in me.

"But my objective is to be in Valencia. I would finish my career here without any problems."

The player has said that he is focused on helping guide Valencia to success at home and in Europe in the coming seasons, and that the team will be looking to build on last season's third place in the Liga and the disappointment of losing in a Champions League final.
