WOODGATE CHOSEN FOR ANTI-RACISM CAMPAIGN
Woodgate and teammate Lee Bowyer were arrested in connection with the incident, when a 19-year-old student was attacked outside a Leeds night-club.
The campaign is for the Leeds programme and a local photographer was hired to take off-the-wall shots of the squad last Thursday, the pictures will be used for a poster campaign and advertisement.
Woodgate's exposure will feature him with Norwegian star Eirik Bakke and black teammates Olivier Dacourt, Michael Duberry and South African Lucas Radebe, the club captain.
Radebe has featured heavily in anti-racism campaigns for Leeds and the picture of the group in the Leeds dug-out was specifically chosen to show an harmonious feeling of unity.
However, legal experts have warned that the Leeds players would likely face a trial in March at the earliest, the court appearance on Monday will likely set the date, which could be after the end of the 2000-2001 season.
