BESIKTAS JOIN LITMANEN CHASE
Litmanen is expected to change clubs this week, after playing for his country against Norway, with Benfica and Porto heading a queue of teams interested in snapping him up.
Several English clubs have been ruled out by the ex-Ajax ace, who is also wanted by the Amsterdam outfit, because of their lack of involvement in Europe, but Besiktas coach Nevio Scala has now thrown his hat into the ring.
"I would like to continue at Barca but, unfortunately, the best player in the world (Rivaldo) plays in my place," admitted the 29-year-old, who will announce his decision soon.
Bogarde, however, is still unsure as to where he will end up next season, even though he wants a move to The Premiership.
"I suppose there`s not much to say," he told Icons.com.
"There are many things happening as I attempt to resolve my future but, at the moment, I have no agreement.
"What I have to do is remain calm and wait.
"It`s difficult for me as the season nears. I still don`t know what my future holds and it`s frustrating."
