Robin van Persie maintains free-scoring form to become Sky Sports Fantasy Football's top-scoring player.
Van Persie bags big again to go top of the scoring charts.
Arsenal striker Robin van Persie became the top scoring player in
Sky Sports Fantasy Football after continuing his remarkable scoring run with a hat-trick at Chelsea.
The Gunners captain has virtually single-handedly got his side's season back on track with nine goals in his last five games, overtaking Sergio Aguero and Wayne Rooney at the top of the Fantasy scoring charts as a result.
The Dutchman now boast 87 points with 10 goals, one assist and four
Sky Sports man-of-the-match awards, the most in the Premier League, and only looks like adding to those tallies in the coming weeks.
The Gunners' fixtures read; West Brom (H), Norwich (A), Fulham (H), Wigan (A) and Everton (H) - five matches they are likely to head into as odds-on favourites to win.
For those looking for a cheaper option from the Gunners, Aaron Ramsey has been their second-highest scoring player with 35 points and, at a mere £5m, looks a bargain.
The only player to match Van Persie's performance this weekend was Newcastle's Demba Ba, who netted three times in Newcastle's 3-1 victory over Stoke on Monday night.
Hat-trick hero
The £6m valued frontman bagged his second hat-trick of the season to make it eight goals in nine games and climb to 68 points, one more than Wayne Rooney, who has failed to net in four now.
Having score nine goals in is opening five games, the United striker has failed to produce the goods of late for the 45% of Fantasy bosses who signed him up.
In contrast, the game's second most popular player, Luis Suarez, enjoyed his best week of the campaign with two assists and the man-of-the-match award in Liverpool's 2-0 win at West Brom.
But given the Uruguay striker has only netted four times this campaign, his points haul looks relatively modest amid a campaign which has seen a record number of goals.
Goals galore
It continues to be virtually impossible to pick a solid backline, with Manchester City, the supposed bankers of the weekend, failing to keep a clean sheet against Wolves, while Newcastle, who boast the best defensive record, also conceded.
Phil Jones is currently the top-scoring defender after earning the man-of-the-match award in helping United keep a clean sheet in their 1-0 win at Everton on Saturday.
Having played in all 10 of United's games, the 19-year-old offers great value at £5.7m, £3.3m less than injury-prone team-mate Nemanja Vidic, but still only commands a place in 8.3% of Fantasy sides.
Elsewhere, Gareth Bale, Rafael van der Vaart and Scott Parker were in the points in Tottenham's 3-1 win over QPR.
Second-highest-scoring midfielder Van der Vaart made it six goals in five games while Bale bagged a brace and Parker took the plaudits with a man-of-the-match display.
Manchester City were predictably also among the goals again with a 3-1 win over Wolves, but Aleksandar Kolarov was somewhat less predictably their star man with 12 points following his second goal for the club.
Looking forward, while next week sees the big sides all face fixtures they will be expected to win, it will be worth while keeping an eye out for injuries and rotations during the midweek European action.
