PULIS TO MOVE FOR MOORE?

PORTSMOUTH manager Tony Pulis is rumoured to be ready to make a bid for Stockport County`s star striker Ian Moore.

The 23-year-old has started the season in blistering form for County scoring three goals in the club`s first two matches in the First Division.

Pulis has earmarked the former Nottingham Forest man after failing to land Robert Taylor from Manchester City for £1.65 million, after he opted to join Wolverhampton Wanderers instead.

The Birkenhead-born player joined County for £800,000 back in July 1998 after signing from Tranmere and has also had loan spells with Bradford and West Ham.
