MILLWALL TAKE LOAN STRIKER
MILLWALL have signed young Chelsea striker Sam Parkin on loan for a month as attacking cover.
The 19-year-old has not played a first team game at Stamford Bridge and joint Lions managers Keith Stevens (pictured) and Alan McLeary have brought him to The New Den due to injuries to key players.
Paul Moody, Richard Sadlier, Neil Harris and Paul Ifill have all been struggling with injuries and Millwall desperately need more fit attackers in the squad.
Although the initial deal is only for a month, Parkin will be offered an extended stay at The New Den if the injury problems worsen or if the players are out for longer than expected.
