FERRER: VIALLI WAS UNBEARABLE
SPANISH full back Albert Ferrer has spoken of his bitterness towards former manager Gianluca Vialli, and declared that he is prepared to stay and fight for his place at Stamford Bridge.
The diminutive defender confirmed to Spanish radio that he had offers from two La Liga clubs, but they had come before Vialli`s departure.

"The situation under Vialli was unbearable," said Ferrer. "But now I intend to gain the confidence of the new coach.
"I know Ranieri from the Spanish League and I have good references, and I hope to resume playing, if that doesn't happen then we'll see."
Ferrer had been linked with a return to Barcelona, as well as rivals Valencia, but he now seems set to stay for the foreseeable future.
The comments follow the likes of Didier Deschamps and Frank Leboeuf in slamming the former Blues boss.
