DERBY ACE SIGNS NEW DEAL
DERBY County starlet Richard Jackson has signed a new year contract with the club which will keep him at Pride Park until 2003.
Jackson joined The Rams from Scarborough in 1999 and has since go on to make his debut for the first team.
"I'm very pleased that Richard has agreed to stay with the club for a further three year," said Derby County secretary Keith Pearson. "He has already proved himself to be a considerable talent, and I look forward to seeing him put in many more fine performances for Derby County."
Meanwhile, Australian midfielder Con Blatsis has been called-up for two matches for the Australian 'A' side in October.
The SoccerRoos will be touring the United Arab Emerates in October and will play games against Kuwait and Korea.
