RECOBA CONFIRMS JUVE`S INTEREST
URUGUAYAN forward Alvaro Recoba has revealed that he is aware of Juventus` interest in him, but he declared that he is still an Internazionale player.
It is an open secret that Inter coach Marcello Lippi and Recoba do not see eye-to-eye and Juve are trying to take advantage of this, but the San Siro outfit`s president Massimo Moratti is eager to hold onto one of the hottest properties in Serie A.
When asked of his opinion, Recoba simply said: "I know Juventus are targeting me, but I am still an Internazionale player."
Juve officials are also looking at defender Daniele Adani and they will meet with their Fiorentina counterparts to try and push through the deal.
However, Vittorio Cecchi Gori is keen to keep hold of Adani, as he may be selling the club and the powerful defender is a major bargaining chip.
