PSV CLEAR TO PAY BELGRADE

PSV EINDHOVEN are set to pay Partizan Belgrade the full transfer fee for Mateja Kezman after the change of power in Yugoslavia.

At first the Dutch champions were unable to transfer the money to the club because of the sanctions of the EU against Yugoslavia.

It is likely now with the change of power that all the sanctions will be lifted and PSV can fulfil their transfer promises.

PSV Eindhoven chairman Harry van Raaij has promised that the money will be sent as soon as possible along with interest.

"From PSV's side, we try to transfer the money as quickly as possible," said van Raaij. "We have agreed to a small interest payment with Partisan in the past.

"The transfer money was put on a blocked account after that. And that amount, including the interest, Partizan will receive as soon as sanctions are stopped.
