TARDELLI BACKS KEANE
The new Inter boss wants to play a 4-4-2 formation and he has stressed that there are no internal problems with the Neroazzurri.
"I feel that president Massimo Moratti and general manager Lele Oriali will help me," said Tardelli.
"Now we need to win a match as soon as possible."
Tardelli also gave some clues as to his preferred starting line-up, providing a welcome boost for some of the younger players in the squad.
Andrea Pirlo and Matteo Ferrari, stars of the team which won the Under-21 European Championships, could both become key performers for Inter this term.
"I cannot say anything about Chelsea defender Christian Panucci," admitted Tardelli. "I like Robbie Keane very much, I think he will be an important player for us."
Midfielder Anselmo Robbiati, who had a fine pre-season, is also tipped to earn an opportunity to impress. He was not one of Marcello Lippi`s favourite players and played only in Coppa Italia matches.
Meanwhile, the Neroazzurri coach is thinking of selling some players, with Panucci already linked with a swap move in exchange for Real Madrid star Roberto Carlos.
Javier Zanetti looks set to leave the San Siro, with Roma keen to swap him for Vincenzo Montella. Argentinian international Zanetti is reluctant to move to the Italian capital but the clubs have been in talks.
