LYNGBY RETURN FOR FREDGAARD?

SUNDERLAND striker Carsten Fredgaard could be set for a return to former club Lyngby after he revealed that he is becoming "stressed" at his situation at Sunderland.

The former Danish Under-21 international has only appeared once this season, in the Worthington Cup tie against Luton Town, and is looking for a loan spell to kick-start his floundering career.

He had been linked with a move to AaB earlier in the week, but Lyngby have now emerged as favourites for his signature, although the player gave little way about where he is looking to move.

"I do not want to comment about club names, but there are discussions going on," he said. "I am starting to get stressed."

He has only made five appearances for The Black Cats since joining in a £1.5 million move in March 1999, and spent time at West Brom last season.
