ROVERS NOT IN FOR HENDRY

BLACKBURN ROVERS manager Graeme Souness has revealed that he has no interest in bringing out-of-favour Coventry City defender Colin Hendry to Ewood Park.

Hendry, who has found life difficult at Highfield Road since his move from Rangers, has been singled out for abuse from the Sky Blues` supporters, forcing him to tell his family to stay away from matches.

Despite admitting his unhappiness at the current situation, Hendry has stated that he is not seeking a move - but he has been linked with a transfer to North West clubs Blackburn, Preston and Bolton.

However, Souness has distanced his team from a possible bid to bring Hendry back to Ewood, saying: "I don`t think it would be correct to bring him back to Blackburn."
