GRESKO READY FOR INTER START
Whilst his former teammates were battling their way to a goalless draw with Schalke 04 in the Bundersliga yesterday, Gresko was strolling around the Duomo and checking out the shops under the galleria in Milan.
"It is a dream for me to play for Inter," said Gresko in Sunday's Corriere Dello Sport. "Inter are a great club, a world institution," he continued.
Gresko first came to the attention of Inter coach Marco Tardelli during the Under 21 Championships in Gresko's home country of Slovakia.
"I do not remember playing so well against Italy," admitted Gresko. But his performance certainly impressed Tardelli who made him a target as soon as the former Italian Under 21 coach arrived at the San Siro.
Inter have allocated Gresko the number twenty four shirt recently vacated by Sixto Peralta who has gone to Torino on loan until the end of the season and Gresko is keen to get his Inter career started.
"I am ready to face Roma if they need me," said Gresko. "I have never played at the San Siro but now I can."
