ZIDANE BANNED FOR FIVE GAMES
The French international will miss the European club games only, and has admitted that he headbutted Hamburg defender Jochen Kientz in Turin following a foul on Tuesday night.
Zidane had only just returned from a one-game ban and has since apologised for the attack that left Kientz needing treatment for a bruised cheekbone.
The ban will rule him out of Juventus' vital game against Panathinaikos in Athens on November 8th and four other European games after that.
Juventus need to win the game against the Greek's to reach the second phase of the Champions League and the absense of Zidane will be a great loss to the Italian giants.
Uefa also fined the Turin club £9,540 for the conduct of their fans and players during the ill-tempered game.
Elsewhere, Werder Bremen forward Ailton was banned for three games for kicking an opposing player during their Uefa Cup game on Tuesday. The Brazilian kicked the Genk player during a stoppage in the play in the 4-1 win.
AC Milan were also fined by Uefa for failing to control their fans during their 3-3 draw against Barcelona. They received a £19,000 fine for the disturbance which saw 100 flares let-off in the San Siro.
