JUVE FANS SLAM ZIDANE AGAIN
For several minutes a large group of supporters, presumably Juventus fans, chanted Zidane's name and made it known, in no uncertain terms, what they wished their former hero would do.
Earlier in the week a poll on Zidane's own website found that 40% of Juve fans wanted the player to leave during the Italian transfer window in January.
And last week Zidane was jeered at the airport by two Juve fans following the club's exit from the Champions League.
Zidane was suspended for Juve's final Champions League match with Panathinaikos after twice being sent off earlier in the tournament, but the Frenchman did himself no favours when he was captured by television cameras laughing into his mobile phone as his team-mates fell behind to Panathinaikos.
This week Zidane has spoken of his desire to win the Champions League with Juventus, the only competition to elude him while at Turin.
But it seems the fans patience with the superstar is now wafer thin particularly after Juan Veron of Lazio claimed that the Rome side were the new Juventus and the achievements of the bianconeri were now just history.
