SORENSEN HOPING TO RECOVER FROM INJURY
"The doctors wanted to keep me for observation, in case I had a head problem," said Sorensen. "The day after I am fine.
Sorensen picked up the knock when he went to challenge Jonathan Greening for a ball and appeared to bring the United player down but after watching a replay of the incident he is sure he didn't touch him.
"At first when I saw the television pictures, I also thought it was penalty," said Sorensen. "But when you see it in slow-motion, my initial feeling is confirmed that I never touched him".
The Danish international stopper is hoping to be fit for his side's next game against Everton in which he will come up against international colleague Thomas Gravesen.
"I am aiming to be back for next match where we meet Everton," said Sorensen. "Yes, I simply have to play since we will beat Gravesen and his side."
Sorensen is hopeful that his side can win the Worthington Cup and earn a place in Europe.
"We are obviously aiming for success in that Cup since it also gives a place in the UEFA Cup," said Sorensen.
