HOLT'S NORWICH MOVE UP IN THE AIR

SCOTLAND international midfielder Gary Holt has seen his proposed transfer from Kilmarnock to Nationwide Division One Outfit Norwich City thrown into confusion after Canaries boss Bryan Hamilton left the club on Monday.

The former Northern Ireland resigned from his position at Carrow Road after his side fell to their fifth consecutive defeat away to Portsmouth last weekend leaving them fifth from bottom of the table.

Hamilton had held talks with Holt over a move to the struggling club before yesterday's dramatic developments, which now places the move in doubt.

The 27-year-old was expected to complete a £400,000 move this week but Holt admitted that he does not know what will happen with the move.

"It's a strange decision and I really don't know what will happen next," said Holt. "Nothing was done and dusted so we'll just need to wait and see."
