PROBLEMS MOUNT FOR DOMI

AFTER BEING given leave of absence to miss the Bradford game on Saturday, Newcastle's French defender Didier Domi flew back to France and his future is in doubt at the club after he failed to return for training.

Domi has remained in France and with Newcastle facing four Premiership games in 11 days, adding to their injury list by having another player unavailable is a real blow.

Robson told the Evening Chronicle: "Didier Domi did not appear for training yesterday. We have been in touch with him back in France and he will be returning later this week.

"Then we will have to sit down and discuss the situation with him."

After reportedly criticising the training methods at St James' Park and questioning whether he would continue to be a Newcastle player, Domi held a press conference, in which his manager spoke for him, to dismiss the rumours.

However, with this revelation it would appear that everything is not well in Domi's world.
