BOLTON EXTEND DANE'S LOAN DEAL

DIVISION ONE promotion hopefuls Bolton Wanderers have extended the loan spell of Sunderland midfielder Carsten Fredgaard for a further two months.

Trotters boss Sam Allardyce had originally signed the Danish midfielder on a one-month loan and he has now extended to the maximum three months which suits the player.

"They have mentioned that it was the possible way and that suits me fine," said Fredgaard.

"We tried to get a loan for one year in the begining, but there is a rule in England that loans can only be for three months at a time"

The 24-year-old former Lyngby ace has failed to make the breakthrough at The Stadium of Light and it seems that he has no future at The Black Cats.

Fredgaard has indicated that he would favour a move to The Reebok Stadium and after impressing in his first month at the club Allardyce may make a permanent move for the Dane.

Meanwhile another on-loan player, French defender John Gope-Fenepej has returned to Nantes after failing to impress during his month at the club.
