LAZIO TO FACE CHINA
SERIE A champions Lazio are to face the Chinese national team in a friendly in the Stadio Olimpico on January 9, it has been revealed.
Lazio president Sergio Cragnotti has organised the game to celebrate the last day of a year of celebrations to mark their 100th year.
He is hoping that, should all go to plan in his moves for Robert Pires and Paolo di Canio, he can unveil any new signings to the club's supporters.
Meanwhile, coach Sven Goran Eriksson will be without Dejan Stankovic, Roberto Baronio and Alessandro Nesta for the Serie A clash with Napoli, the first after the winter break.
Stankovic is expected to be out until February through injury, Baronio has a pulled muscle and star defender Nesta is suspended.
