INTER WANT ROMARIO, NOT AIMAR
Aimar has been looking for a move to Europe for some time, and his chances of getting a lucrative switch to Serie A increased when Moratti admitted that he would like the midfielder.
However, he has dropped this chase, stating that he wants instead to sign Vasco de Gama and Brazil star Romario, and will speak to his agent next week.
The 34-year-old wants to return to Europe next month, but has already stated that he only has eyes on a move to Barcelona, where he has previously played.
Meanwhile, Parma and Inter have agreed a swap deal involving Alain Boghossian and Andrea Pirlo.
French midfielder Boghossian will join Inter, with Pirlo going in the opposite direction to Parma, although the latter has asked for time to think about a move away from the Milan club, where he is still highly-rated despite being unable to secure regular action.
