FOTI FOND OF PIRLO

REGGINA president Pasquale Foti has expressed his interest in signing Internazionale's promising forward Andrea Pirlo.

As Foti tries to rebuild his squad after a very poor start to the season, he is known to be looking for a creative influence that can be useful for the coach Franco Colomba and he is known to think Pirlo is the right man for the job.

The 21-year-old  already played his soccer in a Reggina shirt last season, whilst on loan, and he was one of players that helped Reggina achieve their aim of avoiding relegation.

In the last week, Pirlo has also been linked with Parma and he is expected to choose his new club in the imminent future.

Foti is also targeting Inter forward Anselmo Robbiati and Juventus right winger Jonathan Bachini.

Robbiati is set to move on soon and he is expected to agree with the proposed move to Oreste Granillo Stadium, while Bachini has also been targeted by Vicenza and Brescia, and he is thought to prefer to play his football in a northern town rather than at Reggio Calabria.

Brescia coach Carlo Mazzone has also confirmed an interest in Albanian striker Erjon Bogdani, who currently plays for Reggina.

Bogdani is afraid that he is not in favour with Colomba this season and he may not like to miss a chance to secure a first team place elsewhere this season.

Meanwhile, Reggina coach Colomba revealed that he will play the next match without Andrea Bernini and Andrea Zanchetto because both players are still injured and the medical staff ruled them unfit to play.
