COLEMAN BADLY HURT IN CAR CRASH

CHRIS COLEMAN has been rushed into hospital after a car crash in which the Fulham defender broke both of his legs.

The 30-year-old Welsh international was recovering from his injuries in East Surrey hospital after his Jaguar span out of control and hit a tree.

A spokesman for East Surrey Police said: "Police will be very keen to speak to Mr Coleman at some point to find out exactly what happened."

Fulham are flying high at the top Division One, and Coleman has played a key part in the success at the club in the past few seasons.

The former Blackburn and Manchester City star who started his career at Swansea City, was named in the PFA First Division team of the year last season, to add to two similar previous accolades in Division Two.
