DI ROCCO HEADS OUT OF ABERDEEN

SEDAN striker Alex Di Rocco has finally left struggling Scottish side Aberdeen and returned to his parent club after deciding to take up a clause in his contract with the Pittodrie outfit.

Di Rocco agreed to stay with The Dons until the end of the season, but decided to leave the club after claiming the standard was not good enough earlier in the month. Click here for earlier story.

His availability will alert a host of clubs, namely Metz who are said to be after the striker to cure their dismal goalscoring record.

Metz have managed only 16 goals, the lowest in Le Championnat along with bottom club Strasbourg.
