JEFFERIES ISSUED CAMERON ULTIMATUM
Jambo`s boss Craig Levein has revealed that everybody at Tynecastle is available at the right price, but insisted that Jefferies will have to make a suitable offer if he is to make a successful raid on his former club.
Jefferies has placed Benito Carbone, Dan Petrescu and Stan Collymore on the transfer list, as he attempts to make money available to bring in the players he believes can keep Bradford in The Premiership.
It is quite clear that Cameron is one such player and Levein has issued an ultimatum to Jefferies, saying: "I would rather Jim had the money and made us an offer rather than talk to the press about it.
"If he has got the money he thinks can get Colin Cameron away from this club then he is quite entitled to make an offer.
"I would rather he did that. I have always expected him to come back and try and sign some of our players."
Cameron is under contract with Hearts until 2004, meaning the Edinburgh club have no need to sell, but a lucrative offer could tempt them to part with the Scottish international.
"Everybody is for sale at this club and everybody has got a price," Levein continued. "But we want to keep hold of our best players and Colin Cameron is certainly one of them.
"We don't want to lose our best players but if the circumstances arise where someone makes a silly offer, then it will be something to be looked at clearly."
