NAKATA NOT LOOKING TO LEAVE ROMA
ROMA midfielder Hidetoshi Nakata has insisted that he has no plans to leave the Serie A club, despite reports linking him with a move to Spanish side Malaga last week.
The 23-year-old Japanese international has fallen out of favour at Roma under Fabio Capello and he has been linked with a host of clubs from throughout Europe in recent weeks as the uncertainty remained over his future.
However, with Malaga reportedly being offered the player last week, Nakata has now hit out at claims that he is set to leave Roma, saying that he is fully committed to the club.
"I have not once thought about leaving Roma," said the midfielder. "I want to carry out my contract with Roma."
