INTER TO SIGN "NEW RONALDO"

INTERNAZIONALE have reportedly agreed a £7.5 million pound deal with Brazilian club Flamengo to take Adriano, the man being hailed as the 'New Ronaldo,' to the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.

The 17-year-old should arrive in Milan next week to undergo a medical and Inter are hopeful the player will sign before the transfer window closes on January 31 and become the seventy-ninth player signed by Inter since Massimo Moratti became president.

The 78th player signed by Moratti, Stephane Dalmat, has completed his move to the club and on Thursday claimed the number 18 shirt recently vacated by Ivan Zamorano.

Meanwhile the current Ronaldo has received good news about his injured knee after visiting Paris to consult Doctor Saillent, who operated on his injured knee.

The Brazilian superstar was given a clean bill of health after an echography revealed the knee had healed perfectly.
