DUNN SET FOR NEW DEAL
The news will be a relief to Rovers supporters who were concerned that the 21-year-old might consider leaving Blackburn if they fail to win promotion to the Premier League this season.
"Blackburn Rovers Football Club is very special to me and I want to stay loyal to them," said Dunn.
"I have no intention of moving because I firmly believe that we'll be a major force again soon.
"My whole family are supporters of the club and I've lived here all my life."
The England Under-21 captain did admit, however, that he might consider leaving if Rovers continue to fail to gain promotion to the top flight.
"I'm confident we'll get promoted but if, after a few seasons, the club haven't moved up then obviously I've got to look at my future."
